ZoneVu supports 4 different Target Line Styles (0' VS Lines, Drill to Plan, Waypoints, & Waypoints with Guidelines). Each of these Target Lines allows the user to define a Drilling Window (Up, Down, Right, Left) and visualize these Target Lines in 2D, 3D, and Map View.
Target Lines can be drawn in the Cross-Section, defined in a table, or a combination of both. Once created, the Target Line Style and/or associated Surveys (Plan/Actual) can be changed.
0' VS Lines:
0' VS Target Lines are defined by a TVD depth at 0' Vertical Section and a Dip from this point. The user can define the MD or VS range where the line is drawn. These Target Lines can also be multi-segment lines.
Drill to Plan:
Drill to Plan Target Lines are tied to a specific Well Plan where a Drilling Window (Up, Down, Right, Left) is defined across a specific MD or VS range.
Waypoints:
Waypoint Target Lines are points in space defined by a distance (MD/VS), a depth (TVD/Elevation), and a Drilling Window (Up, Down, Right, Left).
Waypoints with Guidelines:
Waypoints with Guideline Target Lines are points in space defined by a distance (MD/VS), a depth (TVD/Elevation), a Drilling Window (Up, Down, Right, Left), and the lines connecting each point.
