Issue: My live gamma-ray data and/or surveys have stopped updating
Solution:
First, check if RigStream is throwing errors
From inside the Viewer, navigate to the Well Folder by selecting "Well:" in the ribbon at the top of the Viewer
Go to the RigStream Activity tab and look for any error in the "Error/Warning/Information" column
See our Common RigStream Error Messages Knowledge Base article for explanations and fixes to common RigStream errors/warnings
Double check that you have the correct well in RigStream selected in the Edit RigStream Connections pop-up under the Well tab in the 2D Viewer
If no errors are being thrown, reach out to your WITSML provider and check:
That the WITSML data is still being transmitted
No issues have occurred with their onsite hardware or systems
The user profile still has access to the Well's WITSML data
Next, contact the well site and ensure no site issues are occurring

Issue: The RigStream data has disappeared for a well we drilled a while back.
Solution:
Check the User Credentials used to set up that providers RigStream Connection are still correct and active
Reach out to your WITSML data provider and make sure the User Profile used to set up the provider's RigStream Connection still has access to the data
Run a full RigStream Update to re-download the data
Note: It may take several RigStream Updates to download the entire dataset
Issue: The MWD company put a new tool downhole with a different setback or requires a different log scaling
Solution:
You will need to make a copy of the RigStream Log and use this new copy as your LWD log.
See Tool Changes with RigStream How-To article for a detailed walkthrough
Issue: The well has a sidetrack but the WITSML Company has not changed the WITSML well name
Solution:
You will need to make a copy of the RigStream Log and use this new copy as your LWD log.
See How to add a sidetrack when receiving data from the WITMSL How-To article for a detailed walkthrough
Issue: There is a bad survey station being sent over WITSML
Solution:
Navigate to the Directional Survey tab in the Well's folder
Select the bad survey and click the "Ignore" button in the upper-right button row. ZoneVu will no longer use this survey station and will not replace this station in the next RigStream Update
Note: if you delete the survey station, ZoneVu will replace this deleted survey station in the next RigStream Update
See Ignoring a bad survey station while using RigStream How-To article for a detailed walkthrough
Issue: The Surveys coming in are causing my wellbore to appear reversed in the 2D Viewer
Solution:
The azimuth set in the Target Wells Header is not the same as the RigSteam data.
Open up the Well folder
From inside the Viewer, navigate to the Well Folder by selecting "Well:" in the ribbon at the top of the Viewer
Click the "Header" button in the upper right corner of your browser
Under the "Engineering" tab you will find the Azimuth box
Make sure the azimuth data here matches the survey
